Terms and Conditions

By using URL2Pin, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1) The Service

URL2Pin provides tools that help you generate Pinterest pin images and metadata (titles, descriptions, hashtags, and alt text) from URLs you provide, and optional tools to connect Pinterest accounts and schedule/publish pins. The service is provided for “assisted creation” and workflow support. You are responsible for reviewing and approving anything you publish.

2) Accounts and Acceptable Use

  • Use the service for lawful purposes only.
  • Do not upload or generate content that infringes copyright, violates privacy, or is illegal or harmful.
  • Do not abuse or attempt to bypass plan limits, rate limits, or security controls.
  • Do not use the service for spam, scraping at scale, or activities that violate Pinterest’s policies or API terms.
  • Do not create images that depict real, identifiable people in a misleading, sexual or defamatory way. You are responsible for having the rights to the photos and content of the pages you turn into pins.
  • One free plan per person. Do not create extra accounts, or sign up with temporary or disposable email addresses, to get more free pins.

3) Usage Limits, Fair Use, and Abuse Prevention

Plans include usage limits (for example, quotas for AI image pin generations, “photo” pins — pins made from a photo you upload or from a product photo on the page you link, rather than from an AI image — and metadata generation calls). We may enforce limits through technical controls and may slow, restrict, or suspend usage to protect the service and other users. Paid monthly subscriptions reset pin allowances each billing period; annual subscriptions bill yearly but pin allowances refresh monthly. Free-plan pin allowances are lifetime totals unless we state otherwise. Unused quota does not roll over between periods.

4) AI Output Disclaimer (Important)

The service uses AI to generate content. AI may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or produce incorrect language/metadata. You are responsible for reviewing all generated outputs before publishing, including checking compliance with Pinterest policies, affiliate program rules, and applicable laws.

5) Affiliate Disclosure and Compliance

Many users create affiliate content (including Amazon affiliate links). You are responsible for complying with the disclosure and advertising requirements of your affiliate programs (e.g., “#ad”, “#affiliate”, “As an Amazon Associate…”) and with local laws and platform rules. URL2Pin does not provide legal advice.

6) Intellectual Property and Rights in Outputs

You retain rights to your inputs. As between you and URL2Pin, we do not claim ownership of your generated outputs. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and third-party terms (including AI providers and Pinterest), you may use the outputs you generate for your own business and marketing purposes. We do not guarantee that outputs are non-infringing or suitable for a particular purpose.

Photo pins show the photo itself: a photo you upload, or a product photo taken from the page you link. You are responsible for having the right to use that photo, including under the terms of the shop, marketplace, or affiliate program it comes from. For example, Amazon Associates only permits Amazon product images to be shown through Amazon’s own tools, so URL2Pin does not offer photo pins for Amazon product links.

7) Service Availability and Changes

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the service will be error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

8) Account Suspension / Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, engaged in abuse (including spam, excessive automation, or attempts to bypass limits), or if required to protect the service, our partners, or other users.

Payments and Refunds

Cancellation: Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Unless otherwise stated, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, and then access may revert to the Free plan.

Plan changes: If you upgrade a monthly plan, you are charged the full price of the new plan on the day you upgrade, and a new monthly billing period starts that day with the new plan's full pin allowance. The allowance left on your previous plan is not carried over or credited. Upgrades between annual plans are charged the prorated difference for the rest of your current year. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period, with no charge until then.

Refunds: If you cancel within 14 days of a payment and ask for a refund, we refund the unused part of your pin allowance for that period. For example, if your plan includes 250 pins and you have used 50, we refund 80% of the payment. Pins you have already generated are not refunded, because they have already cost us the image and AI generation.

After 14 days, payments are non-refundable, including for unused time or unused allowance. We will always correct genuine billing errors such as a duplicate charge — contact us at hello@url2pin.com. Chargebacks may result in account suspension.

Promotional coupons and discounts are applied at checkout when valid. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively to past purchases.

9) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, URL2Pin will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the service, including reliance on AI outputs or publishing decisions.

10) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protections you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your own country.
