Amazon Affiliate Chrome Extension for Pinterest

A free Chrome extension for Amazon affiliates. On any Amazon product page it builds your tagged affiliate link and turns it into a compliant bridge page and Pinterest pins in one click — with your commission intact.

  • Builds a clean tag= link from any Amazon product page
  • Opens URL2Pin with the product already loaded — no copy-paste
  • Your Associates tag stays on the link, so you keep the commission
  • No account needed to install, and no data collected
Add to Chrome — free

Works in Chrome and other Chromium browsers (Edge, Brave, Arc). Installs in a couple of clicks.

How it works

  1. 1

    Save your Associates tag once

Enter your Amazon Associates store ID (like yoursite-20) the first time you open the extension. It is stored in your own browser, not on our servers.

  2. 2

    Open any Amazon product page

Click the URL2Pin icon. The extension reads the product’s ASIN and builds a clean amazon.com/dp/ASIN?tag=… link, with the tracking clutter stripped out.

  3. 3

    Send it straight to pins

Choose “Create bridge page + pins” or “Generate pins now” and URL2Pin opens with your tagged link already filled in — no copying, no pasting.

What it can and cannot see

The extension requests only activeTab and storage. It reads the current tab’s URL only when you click the icon, and your Associates tag is kept in your browser’s local storage. There is no tracking, no background page, and no access to your browsing history.

Prefer not to install anything?

Everything the extension does also works in the browser. Use the Amazon affiliate link builder to tag a product URL, the bridge page generator to build the landing page, and URL → Pins to create the pins. The extension only removes the copy-and-paste step.

FAQ

What does the URL2Pin Chrome extension do?

On any Amazon product page it builds a clean affiliate link with your Associates tag, copies it, and opens URL2Pin with that link already filled in — so you can create a bridge page or Pinterest pins without copying and pasting URLs.

Is the Chrome extension free?

Yes. Installing and using the extension is free, and it does not require an account. You only need a URL2Pin account when you generate pins in the web app.

Does it keep my Amazon affiliate commission?

Yes. The extension builds the link with your own Associates tag and passes that tagged link through, so the bridge page buy button points at your affiliate link and you stay credited.

What data does the extension collect?

None. It reads the current tab’s URL only when you click it, and stores your Associates tag locally in your own browser. Nothing is sent anywhere except the link you choose to open in URL2Pin.

Does it work with Etsy or other stores?

It passes non-Amazon product URLs through so you can still create a bridge page or pins from them. Automatic affiliate tagging is Amazon-only, because tag formats differ by network.

Do I need the extension to use URL2Pin?

No. Everything it does can be done by pasting a URL into the web app. The extension just removes the copy-and-paste step when you are already browsing Amazon.
