Amazon Affiliate Link Checker
Paste the link your pin points to. We follow it the whole way and show you what a visitor actually lands on — including the redirects that quietly cost you commission.
Found a problem?
Build a correctly tagged link with the Amazon affiliate link builder, then turn it into pins that keep the tag intact.
Make pins from a tagged linkFAQ
Why does my Amazon link redirect to a different country?
Amazon OneLink sends international visitors to their local store. That is useful when it is set up, but if you do not hold an Associates account for the destination marketplace the click is not tracked - your tag rides along and earns nothing.
My link has a tag on it. Is that not enough?
No. An Associates tag is issued per marketplace. A US tag ending in -20 does not track on amazon.co.uk, even though it is still visible in the URL. That is why this checker follows the redirects instead of only reading the link.
Why does the destination show a different product?
When the exact product is unavailable in the store a visitor is redirected to, Amazon substitutes what it judges the closest equivalent. Your pin image and description then describe something the visitor is not looking at.
The check came back clean. Am I definitely fine?
Clean for the region we checked from. Amazon redirects on the location of the visitor, so a link can behave differently for a visitor in another country. Treat a clean result as one region confirmed, not all of them.
Do you store the links I check?
No. The link is followed and the result returned; nothing is saved. See the Amazon affiliate link builder.
